Extend Medicaid Coverage to More Low-Income Ohioans

Current Ohio Medicaid eligibility levels were set in October 2013 when the federal government approved Ohio’s request to expand Medicaid eligibility to more low-income, uninsured Ohioans. Primarily as a result of the expansion, Ohio's uninsured rate was reduced to the lowest level on record.
